Dear ISMH Family,
I am so sad, unfortunately
Professor Shaul Sukenik, Vice President of ISMH and Leader of the ISMH Scientific Committee died on 14th of January 2013 in his home. We lost very early our Shaul, one of our best colleagues.
We all do know him very well as a scientific colleague and he was our beloved friend. He has greatly contributed the development of scientific balneogy, especially publishing the first randomized controlled clinical trials evaluating balneotherapy and spa therapy effects in rheumatic diseases. He was my idol in Balneology. He will not be forgotten, we will miss him cordially.
I express our heartfelt condolences. I and all ISMH members share the sadness of his wife Hava and his family, colleagues and friends.
May he rest in peace.
